The problem is that you do not have the XPM libraries instaled or at least
configured.
Try to see if libXpm.so.* is installed in the machine. If it is there ask your
system adm. to update the dinamyc library info.

If it is not there you can ask the admin. to install it. Or you can try to
recompile the fvwm without Xpm support ( I think that is possible ).

Ohhh, you are the root, then look for the xpm lib.
