Here, with KDE-3.0 and fvwm-2.5.x, adding something like

PipeRead 'fvwm-menu-desktop --desktop kde-sys --desktop kde-sys --dir=/usr/share/applnk --enable-mini-icons --mini-icons-path=/usr/share/icons/hicolor/16x16/apps/'

in the config file build a menu named "Kde-applnk" that you
can bind to your main root menu. Some "local" and "locale" options
(modification) may be needed depending on LANG and your system.
