Two questions to you.

1) How do you start fvwm2 in your .xinitrc or whatever you have?

Hint. There are 2 ways,

  a) starting one instance without -s, it will fork for every screen
  b) starting two instances using -s -d

2) How do you restart?

Hint, you should issue Restart without any parameters.

Are you sure you started with no config, and the default Restart menu
entry caused "another ICCCM 2.0 compliant WM is running"? My understanding
(I don't really have dual-head, so can't test) is that this message may
only happen if you incorrectly restart using "Restart fvwm2". It can't
happen if you do "Restart".

It's possible there are problems with dual-head, feel free to post fixes.

Regards,
Mikhael.
