OK, then. Two questions:
a) does this mean that the "one of the ***MWMDecorMaximize***,
MWMDecorShade or" text in the man page is wrong? (Just "Max"?)
b) what *should* the following do?

AddToDecor Std AddButtonStyle 2 \
Pixmap FNX-window-maximise-on.xpm - MWMDecorMax \
ToggledActiveUp (Pixmap FNX-window-maximise-on.xpm) \
ToggledActiveDown (Pixmap FNX-window-maximise-off.xpm)
AddToDecor Std ButtonStyle 2 - MWMDecorMaximize
I've also tried:
