do a
man fvwm2
and then press /Style
and read this section carefully. Have a closer look at the color option
of Style. Other than that I can only recommend printing the whole manual
and reading it. Read other peoples fvwm2rc files (mine says on the top:
daedalus% more .fvwm2rc
# this is a sample .fvwmrc file for fvwm-2.
# Apparantly, you can retrieve sample .fvwmrc's from
#
ftp://ftp.best.com/pub/tdgilman/Fvwmrcs
# you can also submit your favourite .fvwmrc to
# tdgilman_at_best.com
# if you want to.
