I agree 1000%, and they're definitely smaller (because the context lines
are repeated only once instead of twice), but note that some 'Net
notables, in particular RMS, won't accept "diff -u" patches (actually he
accepts them, but he always requests that you use "diff -c"). They
claim it's harder for them to understand. I find it _easier_, but YMMV
of course.
