I am running AIX 3.2.5 and I built fvwm 2.0.41 with NO problems.
I use FvwmButtons, Fvwmbacker, FvwmIdent, FvwmPager, FvwmWinList, etc.
and all are working okay.
Unfortunately, my system has multiple copies of X11 libraries and
C libraries. I can't tell you if I linked against an IBM standard setup or
an in-house hacked version.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was both. :)
